Home Witchcraft Supplies: Eggshell Powder

This eggshell powder uses 4 ingredients, all are most likely in your kitchen; dried eggshells, rosemary, salt, saved incense ash. You can’t really go wrong with this and any ratio of ingredients will work out fine.

You’ll first want to break down the eggshells with the ash using a mortar and pestle or similar. I recommend adding eggshell little by little so you don’t overfill and spill.

After your eggshell and ash are incorporated together, add the rest of your ingredients and crush to a consistency you’re happy with.

Eggshells can be used in magickal workings such as circle casting, spellwork, spell jars, etc. . Plain eggshells are also known to act as a plant fertilizer.

Eggshells have also been used to:

  • enhance psychic ability by placing on the third eye

  • protect and block out negative energies from the home, by being sprinkled in windowsills and doorways

  • add an ingredient of purification in ritual baths
