A wand is traditionally made of wood, adorned with stones, twine, leather cord, aspects of nature, or other decoration. Most witches create their own wand from a foraged branch and add items that resonate with themselves, their practice, or certain elements.

The wand considered a masculine tool, and symbolizes both air and fire elements. Wands are used to invite and encourage the direction of energy.

The wand is typically considered an extension of the witch, which is why they are so personalized.

Materials used channel different magickal properties and energies. When I created my wand, I purposefully chose uplifting stones, as well as stones that had an association with air, as I am a Gemini.
